The former Hellinikon International Airport of Athens

A short presentation on the previous and current plans and political choices for the ‘development’ of the area of the former Hellinikon International Airport of Athens, as well as on alternative proposals for the creation of a Metropolitan park and on citizens’ mobilisations.

The presentation was prepared by Fereniki Vatavali and Polina Prentou and was presented during a field trip at the Hellinikon airport on February 2012.
